Experience 

As a member of the insurance practice group, Joanne is experienced in advising insurers and individuals on negligence matters, potential action for concerns of liability, quantum and workers' compensation claims. She also assists clients with cost benefit analysis and dispute resolution processes and represents them in initiating court proceedings and out of court settlements.

Before joining Talbot Olivier, Joanne worked with ASIC in the enforcement directorate, dealing with regulatory and compliance criminal issues. She provides advice to corporate clients on licensing and regulatory issues, strategic risk management and "black letter" legislative requirements.

Admitted to practice: 2001.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art), Bachelor of Industrial Design.

Memberships: Law Society Of Western Australia, Women Lawyers Association, Criminal Lawyers Association.
